CLASSIFICATION: Quality Control
DESCRIPTION: Individuals in this role function as Editors who check shopper-submitted evaluations for spelling, grammatical and typographical errors to ensure accuracy and consistency.
REQUIREMENTS: Quality Control must-haves include:
- Fully functional, professional, private home office environment (AboutFace™ does not supply equipment like laptops and cell phones)
- Exemplary face-to-face interpersonal and communication skills, as well as professional, well-kept image
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows Explorer and Outlook, Outlook Express or Eudora
- Excellent writing and formatting skills
- Independent problem analysis and resolution
- Quick and adaptive learning skills
- Perpetual learner - love of learning and natural curiosity about life
- Thorough command of spelling and rules of grammar
- Ability to see the big picture and locate contradictions and errors of omission
- Ability to provide corrective feedback to shoppers in a palatable manner
- Ability to follow written directions meticulously
- Ability to maintain own PC and/or laptop, including installing, configuring and troubleshooting required applications
- Great team player - a MUST!
